Announcing Video Search to Clip
TL;DR:
We’re excited to release the first version of our Video Search feature. Now for videos that Cutlabs processes, you’ll be able to search for words or sentences, review the results, and easily make clips out of them.
The word search is super fast and we’re just getting started on how much more advanced it can get.

Fun Fact: Dr. Disrespect says "The Two Time" an average of 17.4 time per stream?
Video Search step-by-step guide:
Submit a video for editing and wait for the first clips to be finished.
Once your clips are complete, the option for Video Search will be available.
Type your desired keywords or phrases into the search box. We’ve also included a short guide on how to make search terms that work efficiently.
Cutlabs will bring up the moments where your keywords appear, complete with timestamps, the option to clip, and video previews of the moment.
To clip, just hit the “Clip” button! Cutlabs will take 30 seconds from before and after the moment.
Wait for the clip to finish rendering.
The new clips that you create from search will appear at the top of the page with the "Searched Moment" badge next to them.
Tips on how to use Video Search effectively.
Put only the phrases or sentences you are looking for.
✅ DO: He’s cracked!
❌ DON’T: Find all the moments where I say he’s cracked.
Adding quotations marks around your search will make the AI more strict.
Punctuation isn't required for effective searches.
Curse words are A-OK.
As this is the first version, you may encounter bugs or have more questions. If anything comes up, please let us know by email or in our Discord - we’re here to make sure you get the clips you need.
The release of this text search is only the beginning of much more advanced and exciting video AI tools we have planned. We’ll be sharing more inside info inside the Discord so join in if you haven’t already!
We'd love to hear your thoughts during your next stream. Try out Video Search and let us know what you think!
